Care drops off at six weeks. The hard part doesn’t.

After the six-week visit, most new moms are on their own. That’s when serious problems like high blood pressure, heart trouble and postpartum depression can show up, and when the everyday questions keep coming.

Moms will tell you what they need. The system just hasn’t been listening.

Dr. Christina Pinnock

Why I’m building Fourthly

I’m a maternal-fetal medicine specialist. I’ve cared for women through the big struggles after birth, like postpartum depression, and through the many small ones: feeling overwhelmed, alone, and unsure what to do next.

I know which complications show up after delivery and how to catch them. And because I’ve been through my own postpartum journey, I also know what it’s like to be the one who needs help.
